Can my child chat online?

When enrolling, you will be asked to download a verification form for the identification process, which is fundamental. The verification form is pre-filled with all of your account details, you simply need to print it out, sign and send it back to us via email or fax with a copy of a valid photo ID.

There is a child protection act for websites called Coppa. Coppa was introduced so that a website couldn't take personal information from a child under the age of 13 without parental consent. (So for sites like Myspace and Facebook, the kids just say they're over that age and Myspace and Facebook are off the hook if anything goes wrong).

At Koini we want your kids to be in a safe environment, by accepting verification forms from every parent to sign up a child we ensure that no child is online without the consent of their parent and they're in an environment that is only for children under the age of 18.
